Frederique Constant has introduced a new version of its Manufacture Tourbillon, now featuring a mother-of-pearl dial for the first time. Set in a 39mm 18-carat white gold case, the dial brings a soft interplay of grey and blue tones that complement the polished indexes, blued screws, and the shimmering finish of the tourbillon. The tourbillon itself, part of the FC-980 calibre introduced in 2008, is visible through both the front and back, and performs one full rotation every 60 seconds. Only 36 individually numbered pieces have been made.
The use of natural mother-of-pearl gives each watch a unique personality, reflecting light in unpredictable ways and adding emotional depth to the dial.
