SEVENFRIDAY is known not only for its distinctive design and straightforward approach but also for Riley, their mascot teddy bear with an attitude. Riley attempted to design the latest T-series model but found watchmaking challenging. Despite his playful effort, which led to a chaotic yet charming design, the result is the unique T2/07 “T-Riley” model.
The “T-Culture” collection within the T-Series started with the T-Cocorico in 2020, inspired by the French rooster. This was followed by the T-Tiger in 2022, celebrating Chinese New Year, and the T-Beach Club in 2023. Each model brought its unique flair, and now, the T-Riley continues this tradition with its intricate, multi-level dial featuring an explosion of spirals, screws, and bolts.
The T2/07 was created in collaboration with Hungarian artist Kata Kerekes, renowned for her detailed and playful graphics. She previously worked with SEVENFRIDAY on their Tiger NFTs and the M2/04 “Whisky” and T-Beach Club packaging. Her skill in visual storytelling perfectly captures Riley’s whimsical adventure.
